DIN Hatches
At FHS, hatches designed in accordance with DIN EN ISO 6042 are called DIN hatches. The DIN hatches impress with the simplicity of their construction. This makes these hatches reliable while maintaining competitive price points.
When ordering the DIN hatch there is the option of outfitting the hatch with the pantograph hinge. This type of hinge, which was created in close cooperation with the yacht segment of FHS, places the hinges inside the ship, providing better burglary protection while simultaneously hiding the hinges from view.
It is FHS’s aim to fulfill the customer wishes as exactly as possible. The following features can be selected:
- Material: steel, stainless steel or aluminum
- Hinge: "normal" or pantograph Version
- Not lockable or lockable from inside and outside
- Welded frame or screw frame
- A sensor that detects if the hatch is properly closed or open
- Various surface coatings
- Opening or closing aid
As standard, the DIN hatches are gas- and water-tight up to 0.6 bar (6-meter water column) and have a central lock that can be operated from inside as well as from outside.
